Food Truck Tuesday at Boomer’s

Was leaving work with Mike and Jesus last Tuesday and thumbing through Twitter updates from the past few hours when I spotted some tweets suggesting there was a mini food truck roundup happening right down the street from us in Dania Beach. I hadn’t been to Boomers in years and it took some sketchy side-street navigation to find the place but it was definitely worth it once we got there.

Snacks that we sampled included the Bacon Cheese fries from the Red Truck, Hippie Tacos from Montaco, and a plain old funnel cake from a truck that was actually glowing. Drinks (alcoholic and not) were available from a tent that Boomer’s set up for the event. Food truck happenings in Broward seem to be much rarer and less-publicized, so we will definitely be taking advantage of this quick pit stop on the way home again.

  1. Sometimes food trucks have excellent food. I love finding a good one here in NYC. Nice post.
