Modified from the Gin & It recipe in Playboy’s Bartender Guide (seen in the background of the photo above, constantly at hand in my kitchen).
1 1/2 oz. gin
Italian Sweet Vermouth
Pickled Olive Medley (Courtesy of this weekend’s trip to the farmer’s market, but you can find the same thing in any Italian market or good international section of your local grocery)
Pour enough vermouth to coat the inside of the glass. Drop in a few pieces of pickled olives/peppers along with a splash of the “dirty” juice. Pour in chilled gin and stir.
